We have been so impressed with Karina's commitment in her CrossFit training, always striving towards improvement and achieving fantastic results. We love Karina's never give up attitude which is why Karina was our Athlete of the Month for October! Karina's back squat has considerable gone up in weight, and we are super happy to see Karina now run some distance. Over the past few months Karina has become a more well rounded athlete especially in her Olympic lifting. - What do you enjoy doing outside of CrossFit? Travelling, camping and heading to the beach
- What is your favourite and least favourite movements or WODs? Favourite deadlifts and clean & jerk. Least fav is burpees, thrusters and wallballs
- What your biggest achievement so far? 115kg deadlift and 13 Double Unders
- What are your future goals? Box jump and being able to do a proper burpee
- Tell us something we don’t know about you. I helped build a house for an underprivileged family in Cambodia with Habitat for Humanity.
- Who’s your box buddy? Donna, Renelle and the other Karina!
- Why did you start CrossFit? It was by accident! I turned up at a class at a previous venue about 12 months ago and it happened to be CrossFit. JC was the coach. I crawled out of there but loved it.
